Who we are
We are a collective active in Venice, Italy, dedicated to mutual aid (auto-mutuo-aiuto) among trans* people.
We believe in self-determination and self-organization. We share the values of solidarity and mutual aid among equals. We are united by the desire to act locally and to connect with other networks and “trans funds” around the world; the urgency to respond to the specific needs of our community.
We exist because we feel that is is high time we abandon existing harmful ways, from institutional gatekeeping to paternalistic welfarism to top-down charity.
